After losing her father, Emma Bennett moves to her aunt’s small town of Westport to finish out her senior year of high school. Emma wants to forget the pain and loss of the past few weeks, finding relief in the company of Ben Parker—a local boy who she has an instant attraction and uncanny connection with. When Ben seems a little too preoccupied with other responsibilities and has no time for her, Emma turns to the town’s hottest flirt—Lucas Crandon—for affection. Unfortunately, she realizes a little too late that, sometimes, bad boys really can be bad for you.

Life as an undercover agent for the Afterworld’s Bureau of Investigation isn’t an easy job. When Ben Parker finds his soul mate, Emma Bennett, in a small town, he finds himself forced to choose between doing his job or rekindling a relationship with the love of his existence. After Ben is notified that a notorious immortal is loose somewhere near Westport, he realizes that his love life will just have to wait. There is a criminal to apprehend before he can have his girl.

When lives are at stake and immortals are on the loose, can two soul mates find their happy ever after?

Sandy Goldsworthy was born and raised in a small Wisconsin town. Her passion for writing began when her high school English teacher inspired her to be more descriptive in her work. Today, Sandy is writing the second book of Emma and Ben’s story. When she’s not writing, Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, or playing with her English Mastiff, Miles.

Sandy Goldsworthy signed Aftermath—her first novel, with Clean Teen Publishing in 2014.

Tales of Myrick the (Not So) Magnificent by Berlin L. Stephens in Now Available!

Are you sure you want to be an adventurer?

Believe me, there are plenty of dragons, moronic guards, golems, evil sorcerers, zombies, blood-thirsty plants, undead necromancers, bandits, and troglyns out there who do NOT have your health and happiness in mind. If it weren't for my friends—the squirrel-like Nut-boy, the beautiful yet brawny Princess Frederica, and the ever-loyal but brainless Nonac the barbarian—I wouldn't be alive today to warn you about the many dangers out there. Of course, possessing magic running socks helps a lot, too, even though they seem to get me into trouble as fast as they get me out.

So, I've compiled a few of my life experiences in an effort to convince you, my good friends, to just stay home, lock your doors, and keep a loaded crossbow handy. Oh, and have a barbarian around in case something needs to be thumped senseless.

Most heroes of legend have magical swords or shields, great powers of sorcery, or are phenomenal warriors. Me? I have socks.

Oh, the socks are magical, trust me. I found them on the skeleton of a dead sorcerer, but that's another story for another time. Suffice it to say, they grant me the ability to run for a long time without getting tired. They also can grant me short bursts of speed in case I encounter zombies, troglyns, or angry fathers with pitchforks (sorry, I'm not telling you that one). Oh, and these socks also glow in the dark, which comes in handy when, say, one needs to run in the dark from the previously mentioned pitchfork.

Did I ever tell you about the time I saved the King of Fringolia? No? You haven't heard about my encounter with a two thousand year old sorcerer? Myrick is my name. Myrick the Magnificent. Doesn't sound familiar? Yeah, well, this tale didn't get out very well. It didn't quite make it into the troubadours' play lists, either. Sometimes it stinks being a peasant.

“You can’t change the past… no matter how much you want to.”

If only Allie Collins could go back to that tragic day one year ago, perhaps she could escape the guilt that haunts her. In reality, there was no altering her cousin’s death or the role she played.

Then she meets Damien Michaels, a dark-haired stranger on a dirt bike, who seems to watch Allie and know more about her than he should. Veiling his own secrets, including a mysterious scar and unexplained tattoo, Allie knows she shouldn’t trust him—especially as she digs up a past Damien desperately wants to forget. She also doesn’t believe in summer romances, yet she finds her attraction to him growing beyond his striking grey eyes. Unfortunately, Allie discovers too late that he is hiding a dark past which is far from over, endangering her life and those she loves."
